These steels are characterized by high tensile strength, great resistance to low temperature and great weldability. These properties are obtained thanks to a careful evaluation of the alloy components, the lamination and the successive thermal treatments that allow a lowering of secondary elements.
This is why they allow the use of lower thicknesses, and therefore lower weights, and an increase of capacity. Weldability and workability are unaffected.
